So stop taking the path of least resistance

I said that they sound like crap. Well my white apple earbuds that came with my shuffle are dead. So I went to Target and got the cheapest pair I could get, $16. I got a pair of Skullcandy Ink’d. They were sold of of like 6 racks of these models. There was two pink and one blue left.

I first put them on and was like hmm nice a tin can sounding pair of earbuds. Then I started playing with the 3 different sizes of  the ear cover thing’s. So I just happen to seat them just right and WOW the bass popped out. All I had to do was push them a bit farther in and then the suction hit and the pressure in my ear changed to just the right sound.

I would never pay $300 or more for a pair of earbuds, but I could see why now. I mean someone  could jsut not push them in far enough and it means the differance between night and day.

Oh I bought the pair of earbuds because I am listening ot stern on my shuffle at work. It took me a few weeks to find the shuffle. The only bad thing said when the suffle when it was reviewd was it was too small and could get lost. I have lost mine 3 tiems now. Its true, its too small.

Ok I admit it I have a google alert for my name tim7423. I get email whenever something new with the word tim7423 pops on google. So I get this alert this morning.

Apparently I am 4th in STL on Twitter.com. This is real funny considering I only have 176 followers and I never post to it. The most interesting fact is i’ve been on twitter for 2.2 years. I check with the list in San Francisco and Kevin Rose is number 1 wiht like 80,000 followers. The thing that made me smile was Kevin rose has only been on twitter for 1.9 years.

Which brings me to this fact. If you organize the list by “Joined” It shows me as the oldest twitter user in STL. Yeah for number 1.

Had to turn Milk off after about an hour in. I’ve figured it out. I don’t like watching Sean Penn unless hes playing a jerk. Look at the list I made of movies I like with Sean Penn in it. Its Jerk , Jerk, Jerk, and Jerk Lawyer.

With Milk it could have been a combo of Sean and Gus Van Sant. Van Sant tend to approach homosexuality in his movies like a gay 12 year old. I mean there was more gay kissing in this movie and it was totally unnecessary. I’m not anti homo or anything, but it was too much. At one point I was thinking how many times does Gus want to see Sean kissing a guy and is he jerking off to the footage later?

At the end of the day I think I personally would prefer to watch a BBC or PBS documentary on Harvey Milk. I’ more interested in the facts of his story anyways. There was interesting camera work, but it didn’t keep me watching.

I have to admit short of Bad Boys (not the one your thinking) At Close Range, Fast Times, Carlito’s Way and Colors I hate seeing Sean Penn act. Like they explained in Tropic thunder he went full retard in I am Sam and thats a perfect example of the type of acting he does that annoys me. Milk should be better I would hope.

I will be revisiting Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind on netflix.com this afternoon.

Are you the person that is talking on a cell phone when ordering food? If so How fucking rude. That is showing totally lack of respect fro the person you or ordering food from. I will also include convenience store clerks. I have noticed a small percentage of people will carryon a cell conversation while ordering and paying for food. First they ignore you, then spit an order at you without warning in mid conversation with the person on the other end of the cell. Second they expect you to interrupt them to give them change and food, ect. Multitasking I get it. I’m all for being productive. I’m not for someone giving me insufficient attention or respect. Its little common curtsey things like this that slip away unnoticed.
