Oh gawd. Firefox will NOT change your life. It is JUST a browser. (sigh)
Safari kills Firefox either way.
Amen..
I said for “windows” and Yes VS Ie its a breath of fresh air. Plus you don’t get the damn security holes that come with IE. If its “just a browser” Go back to using IE on your pc yourself hehe. Now go suck Steve Jobs off or something. No Really I wish I could use Safari too but I can not. So if there was a windows version of Safari I you could replace the word Firefox in theis psotwith Safari.
Also IE doesn’t (as far as I know) have tabbed browsing. Something Safari started.
I use some applications that cant run in Firefox. Mostly data retrieval which pulls stored info from a network database using IE. Maybe when the addministrator uses only IE we cant use anything else. Maybe I’ll give Safari a try (at home first). Firefox change my life @home anyway. hehe
Mike step away form the joint. Safari is Mac only
I already said this above in a comment

Yeah at work fuck it use IE. Its A) not your computer B) their network. Not your problem. BUT makes slacking off at work no fun. But hey install firefox and try the fix below it will fix you problem.
The sites that are giving you problems use Java Signed Applets if your talking about sites like IRCspy.com there is a fix for that. Its a security deault I had the same problem with Ircspy.com To fix this you need to do this
type “about:config” into the address bar(location bar wahtever basicly where the web address is the URL) and hit GO
Then, in the filter box, type “signed.applets”
Double click the entry that appears so that it reverts to true.
