I check my stats on this site from time to time. I love to see what search terms people use to find things and what things are drawing peopel to my site. This one from yesterday is beyond me.

“waiting, movie, rap video, fuck you with a loaf of bread”

Then today I had one for

Now this one is a much better search term. Short and simple

“see my cock”

I have no idea how any of these manage to turn my site up in a google search but they do.

Well I will start off saying Extras by Ricky Gervias and Stephen Merchant form The Office (BBC) is my number one pick. The IT Crowd has to be number two by default. It reminds me of The Young Ones.

Two guys working in the IT department of a this company get a “relationship manager” played by a “normal” non geek redhead. They answer the phone “IT department have you tried turning the computer on and off? Well then is it plugged in?” Brilliant! In one episode Roy goes on a call gets under the desk to find the computer unplugged. Then gets trapped under the desk when the two lady’s block him in by sitting back down at their desks. I’m thinking hes going to SMS his buddy to tell him hes trapped. Of course he does.

Of course you have to have a warm spot in your heart for British comedy to really like this show. (thank you Faulty Towers and Benny Hill) You can watch the show online IF you live in the UK. Other wise you have to use a proxy to hide you IP or download it off bit torrent.

Man I’m checking out this site that launched today called Stickam. Its a place to store pictures video, and stream a live webcam. It also generates HTML code to stick on your blog. I added/replaced the webcam link on the sidebar to this one instead of yahoo. It uses flash The frame rate is much better on Stickam. Very cool site. One problem within the first 5 minutes of being online I got someone asking ot see my cock. Very childish.

Ok so I check online at the Arctic Monkeys website. I know their album is due to be released or is already in the USA. I know they have to do some USA dates. They are not coming to St Louis, but they are coming to the Metro in Chicago. I go to ticketmaster (against Eddies Vedders advice) to see about tickets. Sold Out. As a matter of fact they are sold out everywhere. At $12 and $11 I understand why. What a fucking shame for me. I do believe that more US dates and higher prices would sell like hot cakes. ( We all know how well hot cakes sell) What are they thinking?!

So I guess I’ll miss the best show in 10 years. Unless I get a wild hair up my ass and check ebay.

UPDATE: tickets on ebay are going for anywhere from $90 to $200 for Two tickets to ANY USA show. Some of the Europe dates are going for much more. For a band with a lot of hype and attention before they even have a debut album this is a shame to not have more dates.

Someone told me to check out Make magazine before i left for Bangkok. I didn’t check them out til now. I had seen the magazine in stores before but did look at it either. I now get the podcast. They even have a flickr pool with photos they use for the website I’m guessing.

I go over to Targets webite to price electric blankets. $49! I guess thats not too bad, but I was expecting around $29. I would hate to cut coners on something that I wrap myself up with to fall asleep that gets pluged into the wall.

I turned my yahoo webcam on 24/7. I added a link to the sidebar. it currently says i’m ofline. I’m always online so don’t listen to the button on the sidebar. I turned my idle alert off. it will show me a never idle. I’m not always in fornt of the computer so now you can out if I’m “there” or not

Not set on the top graphic or the “Advance Copy” font. I want the font to have that rubber stamped feel. I need to redo the red boarder on the sidebar. Its blurry on the corner and looks a bit fat and pixeled. this pic makes it look worse than it accually is.. the top grapgic will have that same look maybe just a different color and shape. I did this work a few weeks ago and have not hadtime to mess with it. i’ll get started on it in a week or two. I’m about settled in to my work routine. I wanted to get a few weeks into it before messing around with “Advace Copy”

I find something new about it all the time. I just found the “more details’ page or properties page. Shows the time and date I took the pic to the time and date I posted it to flickr. Then all the technical info on the settings of the camera.

I got to see snow in Japan, but this was the first St Louis snow I saw this year. I am rather confused since I’m belching Mexican food and seeing snow, while longing for some Thai food. Hmm

Hmm it was ok at best. Didn’t really focus on the backpacker or psycho killer parts of the plot enough. Your just suppose to assume that both exist and may cross paths. I mean no background on why or who backpackers in Europe are. (you left to assume that they are there to have sex and get high) Then it was interesting to explore the eastern Europe fall of Russia and the set up for a place like that in that region. “who knows what goes on behind close doors over there” The whole movie just seemed to want to cough up the token sex and drug crazed (they deserve it) type of victim. Then focus on the gore. Even if I was 12 I’d give this movie a D+. Worth watching on a late night Friday or Saturday if your bored.

I got a free 256 SD memory card with the purchase of the Canon camera I bought a few months ago. I figured a 1GB card would be something I’d need later. Well welcome to later. I also picked up a spare battery as well. Hell if I used the video setting on the camera I only get 8 minutes of video on the 1 GB card on high setting (30 fps and 640X480). I do get 400 pictures now with the new card.

I figured that if I check out the St Louis Mardi Gras in a few weeks I might want more space on my camera memory card. With the hurricane hitting New Orleans there is talk that since St Louis is the second biggest Mardi Gras celebration in the USA that we might see a lot of extra body’s at our. Should be interesting. I just started using this site called Shoutwire. Its digg like in the sense that its user controlled editing. Shoutwire covers more ground and dips outside of the tech area that digg stays to and does best. I personaly like the design ofthe site beter than digg. Its ver ywordpress looking yet sharp.
