Email I Got From Andrew in Thailand

As many of you know there was recently a coup here in Thailand that ousted the Prime Minister…. Its definitely a weird vibe in BKK right now, but luckily the coup is peaceful, and when it comes down to it a VERY GOOD THING. The PM is a terrible man, and its good to see him go.. Here is a pic of me posing with a soldier/rocket launching mobile something unit. :D Sawasdee Coup D’etat! bye bye Thaksin!

A Push From the Left a Shove from the Right. Let’s All Come Out We’ll Do it Tonight

I’m not going to gointo details of the Coup D’etat in Bangkok yesterday. You can check on the news and find out yourself. I got the news This morning in an email notification form a forum online called Thai Visa. A site for Farang living, working and/or playing in Thailand. First thing I did was got to Flickr and see if anyones posted pics of the tanks. Sure enough they did. I also know that TV and communication was cut off in bangkok. Very effective means to control or disrupt people .Kind of scared me. I got to thinking what I might do if that happened to me anywhere in the world at any time.

Whole lot of Nothing

Thinking about the facebook, myspace and blog thing today. Came to the conclusion that everyone deserves a voice to be heard. Fact is most people say a whole lot of nothing. Case in point is my blog.

Fall is Almost Here

I’m not even looking at the new fall lineup. I’m just going to wait till they air and then check them out. I am looking forward to NBC’s 30 Rock. The sitcom about the behind the scene of a sketch comedy show. NBC will air their shows live over the internet with commercials. About time guys. Why network channels that are free over the air wave are not streaming over the internet is beyond me.

I’m basically just seeing a torrent for a new fall TV show and downloading it. A 20 minute show takes me about 10 minutes so even if I stop watching it 5 minutes in its still not really a waste of my time.

I’m sure I’ll be posting more as I tune in and find my favorites.

Right now I am watching the first season of “The Wire”, “The Office(US version)” and the complete “Absolutely Fabulous” set.
