I increased the image size on my flickr page today. It now loads the medium size pics instead of the smaller size. You have to navigate to more pages to see more pics this way since the amount of pics per page has decreased. Also if your on dial up your going to have to wait, but I guess you should be used to that by now anyways. Its 7.25 years into the 21st century get a faster line people I don’t wanna hear about it. Maybe we don’t have flying cars, but we do have DSL.
Ibirapuera is the name. I’m hoping to get inside with my camera at some point. Its nice to look out the window and see lots of green stuff instead of just cement.
Heres the wiki page on Ibirapuera
Or take a flickr tour of sorts form this link. Its just a flickr search for Ibirapuera
and here it is on Google Maps
Zoom out and see just how huge Sao Paulo is.
Without going into detail of what is or why I have this blog (that conversation even strikes arguments) let me just say it is what it is. It different things to different people. Stop analyzing it.
I’m pretty honest and personal when I write as for as my life goes. Do not take advantage of that. It might hold great repercussions. I have been know to be a vengeful son of a bitch. ALSO if ANY behavior fucks with my job in any form then be prepared for a massive hurting.
Another annoying thing is when some of you talk to me about stuff I write assuming its about you. Not everything I write is about you. The “not everything is about you” line is directed at no one in particular. Don’t be stupid and narcissistic please.
Ok so your either pissed or confused at this point so just check back and continue as you were. Well sort of anyways I don’t need bullshit again.
People that read this either A) use the info to wreck my life or B) use what I write to criticize me. So I’m not going to blog for a long ass time if ever. I hope most of you move on. I can write this stuff offline on my hard drive just the same.
If you can not contact me outside this blog then good riddance or I’m sorry that you are unable. Either way its not my fault if you can not contact me.
We are looking to move to a new apartment. We have been looking to move for about 2 weeks now. They person we asked to help us has not done much. So today is the last day for the current apartment we are in and still nothing. They gave us one more day. I don’t see how we can move somewhere new by tomorrow.
Andrew and me have said this many times in the last few days, but its feeling like Thailand here. You get dumb looks and no one moves. Makes you wonder why some countries are shit poor and if they deserve and/or are capable of maintaining a 1st class country.
say what you will about Americans, but we get shit done.
No i’m not just whistleing that catchy Pavement song. I am going to cut my hair off tomorrow. Its too hot and I’m looking like a stoner.
check out these pics

They say not to self diagnose on the internet. Thats one thing. I have learned that when in a foreign country and you get medicine over the counter or other wise to google the inactive AND inactive ingredients. I came down with a head cold and got some medicine form the drug store here in Sao paulo. It was an antihistamine with the second active ingredient for anti-iflamitory and pain relief called Dipyrone has been outlawed by the FDA in the United States since 1977.
Heres the link to the info
So Andrew has decided to buy a Fusca. Thats what they call a VW Beetle here. It is not the Portuguese word for Beetle it is just the name they gave them here when they built them. He mentioned yesterday that it might be too small to lug our gear around. so he might consider a VW bus.
Here Beetles and VW bus are considered the poor peoples car. They are not looked at as cute and collectable here. I’m sure some look at them as that here, but for the most part its what poor people buy. The prices here are cheap too. $1500 gets you a decent looking one that runs good.
Andrews also looking for a new apartment to keep year round. They one we have is serviced and expensive. He’s looking for one thats not furnished and has no maid. So in the next few weeks we should be moving if everything goes the way we plan.
