I’ve been doing something I hate. Waiting. I’m moving out of my apartment this Friday. Its just been a lot of waiting around for shit. Trying to figure out when I can move shit and who can help blah blah.

I have to say on a side note that Budwiser is tasting like shit. I bought a 12 pack tonight and it just tastes like ass. Anyways I have most of the things I need to buy before my trip bought. I have a timbuk2 notebook “sleeve” ordered and I jsut got these two Lacie 250 GB external firewire drives in today.

I have been using Thunderbird as my email client. I was having no problems using it on my yahoo account with IMAP. Then it jsut stopped working. I had to use pop and have had nothing but trouble ever since.

My mail is being downloaded to my computer over and over. Its on its the 4th time now. big pain in the ass when you have 500o some odd email now totaling over 20,000.

After googling a long time I ended up hacking an outdated non compatible extension to clean out duplicate emails. At least something worked.

Its a semi common problem. You’d think Thunderbird would have some option built in to handle duplicates

I could give two fucks about all this talk until It dawned on me. Flickr was bought by Yahoo a few years ago. No Yahoo slightly fucked up Flickr when they took the control. I hope MS does the same if they buy Yahoo and leave it alone. Last thing I need is MS fucking with my favorite photo sharing site. This also Means that I would be giving money to MS indirectly from my Pro flickr account. Something I am not happy about.

I love the speed at home

and missed our flight. We lost 2 hours again. apparently when you hate waiting you get buzzed and casue more problems.

have a few hours till I’m home in STL. Again I hate Waiting.

We lucked out and got a flight leaving Sao Paulo two hours later. So that was excellent. I would not have wanted to wait another day to leave. Andrew has a flight form STL to LAX Wed as well so it would have been a big mess. I’m guessing it was due to Tornado warnings in TX.

Also have my flight for Bangkok booked. I leave in July.
