Forced Vacation.
Well my passport should be ready to pick up any day now. I have to check in person at the US embassy to see if its ready. You’d think there would be a number you could call. Thankfully I’m really close to the embassy. Might be a mile up the road at most.
After I get my passport I have to book a trip to Laos to get another 60 day visa at the Thai consulate there. I’m hoping to be able to book and do that this Sun. Its a 3 day trip. You leave at like 10 pm one night and get in Loas at like 6am then get breakfast and then hit the Thai consulate all before 11am when you check in to a hotel. Then you spend the night and leave sometime in the after noon and return to Bangkok at like 9pm. I hear its more boring than you’d imagine. There is really nothing to do there. Its a boarder town, you’d think something would be happening there. The Cambodian boarder towns all have casinos.
Nothing else real exciting going on. I have a guy installing curtains in my room as I type. I jsut snapped off a photobooth pic of him in the background. I’ll get some photos of the new curtains later today if I have time.
